Get creative with leggings

Updated: I am no longer singularly loyal to any activewear brand and maintain used is better than brand new where you can manage.

That said, I’ve linked the ladies who graciously let me use their photos so if you need a DIY Halloween costume that includes new gear (read: if you need to justify new gear), be sure you support them!

Buy the above leggings from Samantha of Here Comes the Wojos herself

As you see, this is as simple as getting creative on top and putting your favorite polyester/spandex/nylon blend on bottom! This is a bonus if your DIY Halloween costume will double in a running or fitness event.

Great idea from Cara, huh? Connect with her on IG for yoga inspiration!

Get creative with make up

I love how Brooke of Wear It Boldly makes great use of that gorgeous sweater on Halloween by simply getting creative with makeup!

You could do this right now, ya heard?!

Here’s Brooke again, looking 80’s awesome

Goodwin throwbacks

You know I have to share some of my own DIY Halloween costumes, right?!

We ran 13.1 miles in this get up!
You’ll need a wagon and an angry Princess Leia for this one!
Most of the costume accessories were found on EBay. Hogwarts Express made possible by a choo choo wagon + my own blood, sweat, and tears.

Listener DIY looks

Any Trolls fans in the house? I have on good authority the woman above used this costume to justify that purchase of blue metallic leggings. You go, girl!
